Quarry Restoration

Nestled within the confines of a former quarry, Anzania’s tell a story of restoration. This abandoned pit, once a source of sand and gravel for road construction, has withered into a lifeless pit of dust and rubble. However, this desolate canvas will become the stage for an incredible transformation. From this barren wasteland, it will evolve into a thriving centre of exploration and adventure.

We aim to transform the landscape into a thriving habitat, creating an oasis for diverse plant and animal life.
This local haven not only benefits the immediate area but also strengthens the surrounding 20,000-acre Swara Plains Conservancy.
By attracting new visitors to the conservancy, we generate revenue streams that directly support ongoing conservation efforts. This sustainable tourism model ensures the long-term protection of this critical wildlife corridor and the species that call it home.

Anzania serves as a crucial stepping stone within the wider wildlife corridor, the health of the entire Athi-Kapiti ecosystem – a vital region for countless species.

Anzania's restoration approach prioritises a holistic ecosystem perspective. We understand that successful restoration involves more than simply planting trees; it requires careful consideration of the entire ecological network. By aligning our efforts with the broader environmental context, we aim to create a thriving and resilient ecosystem.

Of Hope

In this forsaken wasteland, a barren and forgotten land depleted by human expansion and construction, a glimmer of hope emerges. Anzania will breathe new life into this desolate landscape and restore biodiversity.

Of Transformation

When given an opportunity, nature proves its resilience, revitalising scorched landscapes into flourishing ecosystems.

Of Repair and Renewal

Anzania will rejuvenate and replenish the soil, restoring the landscape with care and nurture. Through this process, the barren terrain will transform into a theatre of plant life.

Anzania’s location inside a wildlife conservation area, echos our connection to nature and our dedication to its preservation.
Swara Plains Conservancy holds a crucial position as a wildlife dispersal area and acts as a wildlife corridor in support of the migrational needs of the animals between Nairobi National Park and Amboseli, Tsavo and Serengeti national parks.
